Soon after I got mine, I taped a GPS on top and ran it-all stock. When I was finished, I looked at the max speed on the GPS. For accuracy, I checked it 3 times. They were 18, 18, and 19mph. I have the ST, but top speed is probably the same.

The stock vr3 is a fast motor if you run lipos and a good esc. I could see snapping plastic driveshafts if you were really rough on the throttle. My plastic ones lasted quite a long time though.

I wasn't sure which one to pick so I went with the aluminums but the reinforced ones are the same price:

http://store.hkshobby.com/product_in...oducts_id=2157 <-- Alum. 7075
http://store.hkshobby.com/product_in...oducts_id=2158 <-- Reinforced

BTW I would recommed upgrading to Priority mail its like 20 cents more expensive. :P

I paid
$46.80 to be exact priority mail to VA

Warning though: Tighten the screws that hold the pins in I just got mine today and put them in and they look great. Although first run the pin fell out (was in side luckily). Just a heads up!
