I just installed a Tekin mini rage ESC and a hacker motor into my MLST2 (along with alot of other up-grades) Everything is RTR but when i turn everything on the motor makes this fain clicking noise and the car simply doesnt go! all the servos work but i get no response (except for a few blinking LED's... Which i am yet to understand because it says nothing in the manual as far as i know...) from forward or reverse.

Please i need some help!!

Did you remember to program the ESC? Also, with the power off, try to spin the wheels and see if they'll spin. If they won't, then you need to checl your upgrades. Good luck.

The wheels spin freely. How do i progran the ESC?
I bought the ESC and the hacker and another tekin 8000Kv motor second hand so i didnt get the manual with it. ive printed off a manual from the comp but i can barely read it.
Could somone tell me how to program it?

Do that, and youll soon know what your problem is.. Also try moving the pinion away from the spur and rolling the wheels, in case its the motor binding up for some reason..

It rolls completely free. It makes this clicking/chattering noise when its NOT any throttle at all, but when i give it some throttle/reverse it stops making the noise and instead some LED's blink.

Never mind. It was the LVC. it wasnt set to a 2S Li-Po.

By the way, whats your opinion on the tekin system? Iv got one coming, but have since heard some not so good things?? Bloating lipo's etc.. I hope its not true!

haven't used mine with LiPos yet, but with IB1400s works great. I have a lipo to try next time I run.

Well after a few runs (on one charge, its a 2100mAh Li-Po lol!) it seems to run pretty well! and im getting the hang of the programming thing.
IMO deffinitly read the manual and program the ESC before you run!

Yeh i have a Dynamite C4 motor and the Dynamite mini Tazer ESC in my mini baja, it friggin flys on a 6 cell, and poo's its pants on a 2S Li-Po, i dont even want to think about a 3S[:-]

I suggest you buy off of them, they're cheap, have STACKS of stuff, VERY good, and are my LHS!!! woot!!
www.*********.com.au is a LITTLE bit cheaper for complete car kits. as far as i know... ive ONLY bought a LST2 off of them
