Which monster truck tires for Mini-T?
I'd like to mount up a set of larger tires for my 4-yr old sons Mini-T. What size am I looking for? And what wheels will fit? He wants a monster truck like his mom's E-Maxx. Keep in mind he's 4-yrs old, so the loss in performance doesn't matter.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Losi has some called the Smashers, they give it a little more clearance then the stock tires. Pro-Line has the Dirt Hawgs which give it more clearance then the Smashers. Pro-Line, Losi and RPM are the only companies to make wheels for the Mini-T.

What you want is some Trinity Monster Offroads. So far they seem to be the biggest tires I have seen to make a Mini-T more MT looking. Review and pics here: http://www.one18th.com/ShowReview117.htm
Offtopic: Mom runs an E-Maxx...damn...wish my Mom was that cool.

Thanks for the link. Those will be perfect for him.
Yeah, my wife is pretty cool like that. I bought her the E-Maxx for Christmas in 2005, just something fun she could play with. She enjoys it.

I found the Trinity wheels and tires, but can only find the front set. Can anyone tell me if the "front" wheels will fit on the back, also? What's the difference between the front and rear anyway?

Because the Mini-T is a 2WD truck the front wheels need to spin freely on bushings or bearings. The back wheels have a different hub design with a little pin that holds them in place so that they can be driven. You will definitely need both a front and rear set of wheels. Someone else might like to weight in here, but should Pauly be dropping the pinion size down a bit so as not to stress the motor on the bigger wheels? I'll have to re-read the one18th review and see if the reviewer recommends that or not.

Here is a pic I found showing the difference in sizes. From L to R:
Stock Mini-T Pins
Losi Street Tread
Losi Smashers
Trinity Monster On-Roads
Trinity Monster Off-Roads
