Sportwerks Chaos LST Project
Well I bought a sportwerks chaos off ebay a while back and never really used it much and I just recieved a Mini LST in the mail that I got on ebay for $80 brand new to start a twin engine chaos project.
I am going to use the transmission, motors, and complete electronics from the LST to make a sweet electric buggy. I actually got the idea from an RC magazine to use the LST tranny but I was going to do somethign with it anyway.
I hope I can sell the LST roller and various chaos stuff on ebay to offset the cost.
The cool thing is that if you use the small driveshaft from the chaos and one of the shafts from the LST they fit pefectly with the tranny. Its almost like the lengths and size were made to go together. First task is to make a motor mount and then she will be up and running.
I bought a new body for it so there wont be any holes for the engine and nitro stuff. I have no idea how it will peform but it should be pretty fun.

And one more for the pats fans

RE: Sportwerks Chaos LST Project
Dude i have a mlst and an old chaos and saw this thread, now you got me hooked on the conversion, but i have a few questions
did you have to cut any holes in the chassis? and do you think i could do the same thing only 2wd?
