Default My New MLST2

I jst got my mini lst2! Any up grades i should get? I love it! It ramps great! It is pretty fast fo an rtr, and the radio system is great!! I have already went to deans, and i have a nice peak charger. I am just using the stock batt cause it has bot 15 min of runtime and that is good enough for now.

It won't be long before you will be wanting to go brushless and lipo, I think it took me 3 days from first driving it

well, i have many 1/10th bl cars and i have never even touched a lipo, i hate to think what can happen with one!!! I have really good dealings with high capacity nimh packs. I think my lhs is gonna run a mlst2 spec class on the dirt track this summer also, so no bl or lipo anyway i think.

If you feel you need it, I've had no issues with the stock servos at all, but then again. I'm not one of those extreme bashers that tend to have the issue

Tim Mohr the factory driver for Castle Creations who won the 2007 RC Pro Series national race did it with a MLST with stock servos

The only thing you might wanna do, I'm gonna order it up in a week or two, is buy a 3Racing or GPM servo saver, they use much nicer sturdy ball linkage rather than the coat hanger design, it makes the servos much more durable and effective.

Killerhobbies.com seems to be the cheapest for the Exotek conversion, but everyone is within a few dollars. Honestly, I love it in the MLST that I have it in. It's very expensive for what it is, but if you compare it to getting a CF top plate and replacing the servos once they crap out, you've come out even.

you can just use 2 ball cups between a tie rod for the link between the servos

i locked my center diff today, really didn't do much though, it did improve acceleration and brakeing abit though. i am getting the intellect 1400mah friday along with the losi bronko body. i might try some hitec hs55-mg servos and a custom servo saver drag link thing and see how that does, because i kinda like the dual servo, and since i work at my lhs i can get them hs55-mg fairly cheap. I did notice that when it was getting good grip and not spinning all four tires that it is now pulling wheelies. When i had the tranny apart, i put more grease in it and coated it basically to make sure it was lubed really good. I am really liking this truck so far. It handles really good and goes through grass, and tall grass very well. I actually like it better then the rc18t because it feels a bit more stable, and is easier to control, and really has tons of torque and speed compared to my rc18t.

My lst2 has been out of commision for the last 6 months,(wondering why his LHS is always backordered on the mini servos...
ever since i didn't care, and jumped it off a ramp on my friends couch.
So i would say personaly too upgrade the servos first... other than that, it has been a great truck! And the drivetrain apparently can handle brushless, so that's good too!

when you get that intelect 1400mah battery, you should notice more power, and a much better runtime. so, youll love your mini even more
