ok so my friend just finished building a track in his backyard and he has a mini baja.

i am wondering what kinda car you would suggest just for some all around driving...

I voted mini t. For just driving around its great and if you feel the need to upgrade it has a massive amount of aftermarket support

It depends what you want.
If you want to beat your mate easily, go for a 4wd mini like rc18.
If you want to be able to race fairly, go with mini-t or mini-baja.

rc18t because i have one and its soo much fun..
and it also has a massive aftermarket support..(probably not as big as the mini t)
and you can make it 2WD whenever you want..
mine jumps really nicely and you can make it into the rc18r/mt/b whenever you want..
haha great car thats what i reccomend

go with the rc18t. they have a wider range of hop ups than the mini t ( order from the toyz).

hmmm sounds like i wnat 4wd and maybe get the 18t becasue like maxxin2.5 said..

I have prouplse (rc18t knockoff) and a micro-t and I love my micro-t so I would go with the mini-t. Wish I had done the same.

i decided to go with the 18t

and i love it!!!!!!

(except 3 leaking shocks)
