Micro-T Lipo packs
Hey,
I was wondering if anyone had experience with, or knows much about this batter pack for the micro-t?
http://www.maxamps.com/Lipo-480-37-Pack.htm#
If you happen to know better battery packs, or ones that are of better value please let me know. Also, I'm not sure what I would do about balancing a lipo pack like that. I have the super brain charger (can charge anything), but I don't believe it has any kind of balancing capabilities. If you have any thoughts I'd love to hear them.
Thanks,
Joshua

RE: Micro-T Lipo packs
I wouldn't use that pack. While it will give a lot of runtime it's only half the voltage of the Losi LiPo for the Micro T, so it's going to be a lot slower. Also I'm sure that pack doesn't have an LVC built into it like the Losi pack so you'd have to be really careful about over discharging it, unless you have brushless with an LVC.

RE: Micro-T Lipo packs
Ah yes. I hadn't thought of the cut-off limit. Well in that case, does anyone know of any nimh packs that are high capacity. I'm mainly looking for a battery pack that will give me longer run times than stock. for right now, I don't need a ton of speed, I'll mostly be racing with xmods and such on concrete and asphalt. considering that, I don't think I need speeds of 20-something miles per hour.
Thanks,
Joshua

Check this place.
http://www.cheapbatterypacks.com/tst...p?sid=1350980#
I'm going to to get one made in an L shape to put in my DT. I have heard better power and 30 min run times.
Or go with this...

Does this pack <http://www.aero-nuts.com/product_inf...oducts_id=433> have the required LVC? anyone know?

RE: Micro-T Lipo packs
I kind of doubt it since it has a big warning about not over discharging it. Why not go with the Losi Lipo? It gives atleast twice the runtime of the stock NiMh.
