Default Range problems micro-t tried everything i know!!!

Okay so i cant get more than 10ft (seriously) of range from my micro-t. Ive re-soldered the stock antenna, bought a new 1/10th size antenna....but nothing works.

Please help!!

How thick was the wire. I have resoldered thicker wire to mine and my cousins and you will lose sight of them before they run out of range.

Not sure how but our lhs guy uses a cf rod for his antenna. I will ask him how he does it when I go there wednesday.

do you know anyone else with a micro tx & rx you could borrow to troubleshoot with? swap the tx, rx & crystals till you localize the problem then work from there.

sonic....i wish im at college and im basically the only guy i know into rc....but i do have my trinity now with me so i can at least swap the crystal and make sure its not the radio....thanks for the idea!

Check the radio too. If your bored pull the case in half and see if the wire that goes to the antenna bed is in tact. Had this happen more than once...usually from an antenna that keeps spinning......doesn't tighten.
