Even you will say I am compare apple to orange, the brushed version of MERV that cost $209 compare with MLST2 limited's $219, it is a better design as I see it. Water tight electronics, dual batteries ready, lower center of gravity... Well, you may say MLST comes with 2 motors and 2 servo, but its the power it count. If it run a brushless, why 2 motors. If it fit a bigger servo, why 2 servo.
Again, I still keeping both trucks. I just think Losi should re-design a new truck if they want to get customers back from MERV. Not adding nonsense "upgrade" accessories on the old MLST.

the MLST is a 5-year old design - you can't take real cars from 5 years ago and compare them to what's offered today.

Rumor has it, Losi and other manufacturers get into problem with the real VW about their baja ''VW bug'' look a like body without the VW permission. So all Baja bodies are pulled. I think Pro-line is the only one has Baja body now
Not for long.
