Default Do u use heat sink in ur brushless motor?

Guys,
Do u use heat sink on ur Losi Mini T or DT brushless motor? As there is a motor guard so the heatsink doesn't fit or the guard has to be removed if heat sink has to be on. What u do?

I don't have a MT or MDT, but I have seen photos of others using these "all-in-one"

However, if I did own a MT or MDT I would prefer keeping the guard on rather than the heatsink because usually the guard material is thicker and tougher compare to that of those Alu heatsink. If something scratch during a wheelie, I would not want to see my BL motor working as the skid plate.

your motor guard is a heat sink in itself. and i personally have never used 1 in a mini t . that's just my opinion im sure you will get some good reasons why guys do use heat sinks . i could see running a fan on your motor if its a higher kv like an 8000 or above

I wanna know does that alu metal heat sink touches or attaches the motor "mounting metal" sothat the heat could spread along? I see the brushless motor doesn't touch the guard.
