Default E revo 1 1/16 lipo

I need help. I have a 1 16 e revo and 2 1800mah lipos and series connector. I plug them all in fully charged and the light on the esc blinks green and red, green and red over and over. I don't have a manual, bought it used. Both batteries work alone but not together. Any ideas???

2s in series is too much for the stock esc. Thats running 4s lipos and it can only handle 2s or 3s, ive read that you can run them in NiMih mode but you need a external lvc. I run my 2s lipos in parallel and usually get about 45-50 minute run times and its a great power combination its not stupid fast

How fast would you say the 2s in parallel are?

You would think that 2 lipos in parallel would have the same w
power as 1 but with longer run times and no overheating

It's faster than a 6 cell NiMih forsure, and run times are much longer.

It is faster on one 2s lipo then it is on a 6cell NIMH. When running two 2s in parallel you will double your run time. I get close to 20-30 mins. of run time on one 2s 1800 lipo.

LIPO must be in parallel if 2 batteries are used, get 11.1 volt batteries. It will blow Nimh batteries away.

Two of these work real good.

Two 3s can be done safely in parallel, right? The LVC on the ESC is at 3s, right?

I run two of those in parallel. Sick speeds and really good run times.
They are a tight fit in the battery compartment, so tie a ribbon (like the one's for X-mas wrapping) around the battery and leave yourself
some tabs to grab to help you pull them out.

You also will need to vent the body and add a heatsink to the Brushless motor to keep it from going thermal.

Are these batteries already equipped with the high current traxxas connector?

No, you have to add whatever connector you want to use.

I personally have never used them, so I can't speak of the quality, but I've read on other forums of people using them with
the Traxxas brand, so they do fit.
Personally, even though I've ordered my batteries from Hobby city, I use Traxxas brand connectors.

BTW
When you order from Hobbycity, do yourself a favor and pay the little extra for the EMS shipping.
I ordered my Batteries on a Sunday night and they arrived on Thursday.
