Default 1/16 e-revo tire pictures please

i want to see what you are running for tires and wheels. and where you got them and how much if you dont mind.

and i also have a question, if i buy the beadlock that are 2.2" then i should be able to but on any tire thats 2.2" right? i like the dirthawgs but they dont make ones i like for the revo so i was wondering if it will hurt or not fit or anything i would need to know.

I am running both the Pro-line Road Rage and Dirt Hawgs on Titus Beadlocks. I no longer run the stock tires and wheels. You can get just one set of beadlocks but I bought both the Dirt Hawgs and Road Rage tires on their own set of beadlocks. It's very time consuming to switch the tires out. I paid about $45-50 a set. Both give superior traction on pavement and dirt. I have recently taped the Road Rage to eliminate any ballooning and plan to do the same to the Dirt Hawg tires. Yes the beadlocks are 2.2 and you can mount any 2.2 tire to them but you have to make sure that if you try to mount a 2.2 tire that is made for a 1/10 scale you have enough turning clearance on the Mini-Revo. I am thinking about getting a set of sand paddles for my Mini-Revo for when I go to the beach.

Here is some pics of my Merv with the Road Rage and Dirt Hawg tires.

Oh...I bought my Pro-Line tires and wheels from my LHS which I probably paid a few more dollars then online....but I had to have them NOW!!  lol  So you can probably save some money buy shopping for the best deal online.  Pro-Line makes high quality stuff and everything has worked great on my Merv.

Nice looking setup you have there gforce2148. I like the way the decals placed, the metal green, + the killer looking tires too.

Thanks! The Amp metallic green body I actually haven't ran yet. lol It's sort of my show body. The blue and silver body is my bashing body. I've cut air vent holes in it and have experimented on it. I will eventually run the green body, but it looks so shiny and nice.

No worry, most of us here has one body for bash then a second one for show also.

I use the moster SS wheel for most my tires. Here is a picture with Monster SS wheels modified to be a little narrower, and a proline bow tie 2.2
I got these wheels recently http://cgi.ebay.com/Traxxas-Lite-Whe...item20af54d671, and I have not used them yet, but they look to be the right size for the bow tie's without doing any trimming.

I also run the non modified monster ss wheels with these tires... http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXFBV7&P=ML

Got two sets of stalkers and two sets of Pro-line hole shots on ofna rims

JConcepts goosebumps IDK the rims
One broke in 1/2 mini e-revo with a new chassis dyed rit scarlet red and another one I'm gonna dye royal blue.

Broke the vxl jumping it off a loading dock.
It's the kids fault they kept asking me to do it. LOL

waiting on the rear bulk heads then gonna swap it all over and put the rest of the spares on the other chassis.

I think I just need a front bulk head ESC , tranny, RX and a lid and I'll have a whole nother brushless Mini.

I got spare parts like mad... I bash this thing like a rented mule. It's my favorite RC out of over 20 or so.
Later

Thanks man.! Yeah I have after shocks and links to make it a low and tight ride on the pavement. I stretched the links to make it lower and tightend the shocks to make it not bottom out and with those tires.. racing on the pavement is golden.!!

bump,,,,

i really want a set of sand paddles!!!

i have the slash, but im ordering the 23t pinion to change the gearing, so i can run larger tires.
also going to be getting dbl black springs for the slash,
and possibly taller body mounts for the slash body, or a revo body and some wheel spacers.

im looking at the proline sand paw for 2.2" wheels.
http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXDT99&P=ML

but no one says rim width, so what size rims do i order?

i was hoping to get these.
http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXXSA1&P=7

the stock revo's say 2.3" will they work for 2.2"? typo? they are 1.5" wide.

That is cool!! As soon as I upgrade to aluminum hubs I want to try larger tires.  Maybe some crawler tires or something?  Something way bigger than the Dirt Hawgs I am currently running.  lol

Summa,

which tires are those? Which type or Rims too?

I'd love to go for something that wide and aggressive!

I bet it's even tougher to flip over now!

Here is the newest tire set.. got a newer set on the way as well..

I had a few noob questions for you/ anyone else.
The HPI SS wheels- i take it you have the rear wheels al the way around because of the offset?

With the bigger wheels and bigger tires, what gears are you running?

if the wheels are 2 inches wide, what tires will fit? do i need to look at only tires that say they are 2 inch wide, or will 1.75 or 2.25 or so work? all the ones i'm looking at are 2.2 dia for the rim. I just need to know if there would be any problems from buying a smaller or larger width tire? or do you simply, "stretch" the tire to make it fit the rim? or do you modify the wheel somehow?

the wheels are HPI SS- rears for the front and the back

just some examples of tires in question

these say they are 2.375 wide
http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXTYP0&P=M

these say they are 1.50 bead width
http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXGJ73&P=M

thanks
