1/16 E-Revo vxl -vs- 1/16 Summit
 

I'm new to these higher quality cars, only have had radio shack cars growing up. I'm looking to buy two to use them for fun in the backyard with my young children in the dirt/grass/gravel.

They are both priced around $250 but the big difference that I see is that the Revo has a brushless motor and the Summit does not. I like the look of the summit and I think they will appreciate the truck look more, but the brushed motor scares me. Seams like they don't last long. What do you guys think about the difference in these motors?

I'd rather not go to the Summit VXL, pricing is out of my range.
