How do you change the differental gear?

I am just wondering how would you change the differential gear on an rc18t? Would you have to worry about the little metal balls flying everywhere? Also a manual that shows you how to build differentials would be nice to look at. Don't have any manuals becuase I bought mine used on ebay.
thanks for everyones help

personally, from my experience of working with my own ball diffs , i use the lube to stick all the little balls to one place, preferably the place where theyre supposed to go... like smear lots of lube onto the gear (you might have to buy another tube cuz you got your truck second hand) and try to pick the balls up by getting them stuck onto the lube...

I got 3 in 1 oil right now. It lubricates, cleans and prevents rust. Would that work?

I used a towel and didn't lose any balls:D. And the oil I found seems to be working great.
