brakes and throttle curve will be your main problem trying to use a plane esc for a car.

here is the features of my esc.

FEATURES: Compatible with NiCd, NiMH and LiPo batteries
Auto-detects input volts and sets low-voltage cutoff
8.5kHz switching frequency, for good run-time and cool operation
Pre-installed Universal radio connector* (see Comments below)
Pre-installed WS Deans Ultra male connector for battery (see
Comments below)
Pre-installed gold plated 3.5mm female bullet connectors for motor
High powered BEC (Battery Eliminator Circuit) which handles 3 or 4
standard servos
Full proportional forward and smooth throttle response with ON/OFF
brake
Safe Start System** (see details in Comments below)
Thermal Protection stops motor when maximum temperature 230°F
is reached

it says there " Full proportional forward and smooth throttle response with ON/OFF
brake" but i dont know what they mean by ON/OF break. i actually dont know yet how to use my esc.i just bought it and never use for like a half yr now.

That means that you're either fully braking or you're not braking at all; I think this is usually done at throttle neutral for planes. You'll have no proportional control of the brake, so this means skidding / spinning / flipping every time you want to stop.

With a brushless, smooth stopping is critical! :D
