I want the buggy, lol. They look cool. I wonder if more people will come out with real Hobby Grade 1/24 scale buggies, truggies, etc, instead of the Mini-Z, Xmods, or having to make your own (which is very fun)

RE: new Rc Off road 1/24th scale
Just did some searching. I found they are made by Unimax. The series is called Radline. They cost about $80. They are "Entery Level RC" Hobby Grade too. 1/24 scale. Infact TowerHobbies has the on Pre-Order, and listed some Hop-Ups. Check it out [link=http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0095p?FVPROFIL=+&FVSEARCH=UNIMAX+Radline]here[/link]. They only have pictures of the RC's, not the parts.

Found the site. www.RadlineRC.com I don't think unimax has a site, but thats the still good.

I have to go to target soon, I think I'll pick up the Buggy, and Hop-Ups, and the ST if I have some cash left over. Maybe the Elite ones are not as upgradeable as the other?

|
RE: new Rc Off road 1/24th scale
No I dhavent been able t ofind out ima guessing it has already the up grades on them iam not for sure iam going to try and call them today and ask thme that very question myself..:D.

RE: new Rc Off road 1/24th scale
So I went to ripper7racing and saw the internal pics....
Looks cool, but there's not a lot of room under the hood, unless you somehow mod the battery holders, and make some more room in there. The motor looks like your standard mini-z style motor, so maybe a 12mm feigao will fit... But who knows if the drivetrain can handle it... we'll just have to wait and see... |
RE: new Rc Off road 1/24th scale
I think thye will hold up just fine but i wished they didnt have the batteries on the side like that, one thing for bteer power is by those rechargable enegerizers 2500mah and use them.but i want to get the buggy and play with it and see what i can do.

RE: new Rc Off road 1/24th scale
Those were great pictures and you can really see alot of detail on the cars chassis,I think thye will do good and if thye keep the hop ups coming it looks like there maybe a new calss for Indoors Offroad racing.
So i guess the electronics would fit on top where the motors at????? |
