NT18 Fuel types
 

Ok just did a qwik look thru on the mini forums. Didnt find what i was looking for so here is the question:

What Type of fuel does the NT18 take for its .8cc engine
The website says it takes "standard fuel" but my question is, what percentage =% fuel does the engine need.
I have a 1/8 MT that i use o'donnels 20% and i would like to use the same on my NT18 but i dont want to blow the engine or anything.
Any info would be useful

I'd suggest 16% as a general rule, like a small block, however, I did successfully run mine on 25% for a couple of days when I ran out of 16. Ran fine, no problems at all. Even did a club race that weekend (both servos fried so I didn't finish that race, but no fuel problems!).

Thanks for the fast respond time. Since my LHS doesn't carry a lot of Xray parts (if any) I didn't want to risk killing my engine. Even tho the engine is Much smaller vs my Big block, i hope to get AT LEAST 2 FULL gallons from it over time and making sure i have the correct fuel and a good fuel filter would help pro-long the engines life:eek: But for now i want to focus on finding some good "High torq" micro servos[sm=shades_smile.gif]

Just use your 20% fuel :)

mines been running good on blue thunder sport blend 20%
