Well today just running on the front street I flipped on its top and skidded a few feet. The few inches of antenna that hangs out the antenna tube was cut off! lol seems to still have good range so just a heads up. Any one else have this happen?
I have had it happen alot. If your radio is good enough, you can shorten the antenna tube so it us under the body and wrap the wire around the tube and tape it.
Or you can get a spektrum radio like I have and the antenna is short and the signal is strong.

I just cracked my chassis in half under the rear chocks after I was attempting some backflips off a bike ramp. Good thing chassis's only cost 10 bucks.

Nice revo, how do you like the roll cage? Someone really needs to make a nice low cg cf chassis for these trucks.

Trying to run 2 common sense 2c 7.4V 2300-mah lipos in my mini. I have installed a Novak 4 cell smart stop, i want to run these batteries in a series."Y"
As soon as I give the truck throttle, it stops and the receiver begins flashing red and green. Any suggestions?

Read the manual. It has a cutoff at 12.6v for LiPo mode, 18v in NiMh mode. Hope you're running a small pinion, cause you can toast esc, motor, batts, etc.

RE: OFFICIAL MINI E-REVO THREAD!!!

I run parallel now with the stock packs so it should be (7.2 volts and 2400 mah) with the two stock packs. The packs charge up to 9.3 volts or higher, every time i charge im putting in more than 1300 mah so its more like (9.3v 2600mah parallel). I know this is true as one charger has the info built in, and the other charger i hook my fluke meter to it. So if i get a series conector i will be running over (18v 1300mah). Am i on the right track in understanding this? I hope it will run if i get a series conector. I have had no heat problems with the 28t running in parallel so far, I did drill holes in the windshield and other parts of the body.

If anyone is running 2 2c lipos, what are you using?

With an added external LVC, could the truck be ran in nimh mode with 2 7.2V lipos. Im guessing this is how people are running 2 2c lipos? Im new to electric so im sorry if what Im asking sounds ignorant.

The vxl is lipo ready. You dont need an LVC. Just read ur manual and it will tell you how to switch it on the ESC. Also lipos dont come in "7.2v" Any 2S lipo is 7.4v

RE: OFFICIAL MINI E-REVO THREAD!!!

The manual says that the ESC flashing red and green indicates that there is too much power reaching the ESC. I had just heard of people running 2 2c batteries so I bought 2 of them. I hope I didnt waste my money.

If anyone is running two 2s batteries, it's in parallel which would mean twice the run time. You can also run a single 3s pack (or two in parallel) which would be 11.1 volts (with high speed pinion). The only batteries they recommend running in series are the two 7.2v Nimh packs (with high speed pinion).

Yes if you run them in parallel you will be fine. I run x2 2S 2200mAh 20C lipos like this so the mAh doubles up giveing me 4400mAh. I get about 40-50mins run time off mine.

Ahh parellel! I see, so the only benefit of running 2 lipos is run time. Seems like a waste of money. I have 8 Nimh batteries and have about the same amount of money in 2 lipos. Oh well, live and learn.

You can get 3S lipo that will fit but i think the biggest mAh you can get is something like 1600mAh. If you run 2 of thos in parelle you will get some good run time and good top speed. Personaly i like the 2S with stock pinion and 45tooth spur. Its fast enough for the size of the truck. It tends to flip very easy. If they had wider arms i would get some higher voltage batterys for more top speed.

Just my 2cents. :)
