RC18lm

Looking at one of these little cars at a LHS. What parts are compatible with them? It looks like an "r" suspension on a new style tub. I really like the little car, but the arms and linkages are WAYYYYYYY to flexible and soft.

the arms and liunkage is the same as the 18r, the only differance is the lm has nubs for sway bars where the 18r doesn't. the axles and cvd are the same, shocks are the same, wheel hubs and steering knuckles are alll the same. shock towers I belive are thesame aswell but not 100% on that

That's what I thought looking at it. I think I'll be grabbing one as an indoor/outdoor fun type deal.

if your running outdoor make sure its a smooth surface, like a parking lot or something. they are alot of fun

It would be the same surface we run 1/10 pan cars on. It's a brand new lot at a local church.

I'm trying to find a cheap class to crank some racing up locally....

RE: RC18lm

yea that type of surface would be great. yea we are trying to get a nice stock tt-01 budget class by me, we run 18r's and what started out as a stock class has grown to be "as long as the stock motor is in it" lol we got guys running cf chassis.

My main running buddy is wanting to do pan cars, either with a brushed class or basic B/L class. I dunno what kinda interest we can get though.

RE: RC18lm

its deff tuff in this economy to get people to commit to a new class aswell. we threw a nice twist on our class and made it a muscle tt-01, that got alot of peoples interest lol, Nothing like seeing muscle cars on the track
