GM Killer Vee and Pilot Cobra Z kits
I've had these tucked away for a while, anyone ever build one? Looking for motivation to start them. We may have another round of snow here, so I may be inside tomorrow.

I love my Killer Vee!. I have had several engines on it and it has developed quite a history! It started with a .15 fp, then I think a Magnum .15, then a CVA .15 and then a .25 fp.. Well, the .25 was installed so it could be a way back up plane for an Open B combat meet. It just so happens that I had to fly it and it got 2 cuts in the final heat to take me to victory!
I love that plane. Make templates and save the plans. Build it and fly the heck out of it. Wonderful design.

Drop a hot 1/2A or 1cc on the Cobra and you'd have a little terror I think!

I always like the Killer Vee but never had the chance to see a kit in person until this weekend when I saw a fairly rough example. He wanted $60 for it which was too rich for my blood, but someday I'll have one.

i built a killer vee over 20 years ago. started out with an OS .10 FSR and ended up with a piped K&B .21 that had previously powered a sarpolus hammer 20. very fun plane but if over powering it you should think about beefing up the wing. at the time i had lots of experience with over powering the hots design so i automatically beefed it up.

I noticed I already had a plane half started (or finished!) So I finished it. These will have to wait. Completed my Fun Thing, by Future Flight (1994?) Might do the Cobra later, not sure about the Vee yet.
I guess I could listen to some bids on the other kits...

I don't think you should build them! Instead I will be more than hyappy to take them off your hands.

I knew I had a Bumble Vee. I't a Killer Vee on steroids for a 20 size.

I contacted a lazer cutter today and I'm thinking about having them copy the Killer Vee kit. Anyone intersted? I think all that is supplied is the curved stuff, no straight or spar type wood. I don't know much about this, so I'm not sure of all how much, he thinks around $35.00? But no plans.

I've got the plans, this is a perfect kit, nothing opened in it. I'm not sure what to do with it yet. If it's that simple to copy, I may not mess with having it done. Looks like fuse sides, ribs, ect...

Exactly. If you are really nice, I may be able to be cohersed into a copy!
