Default Large gathering of 1/2A models at SMALL in Little Rock in Oct 2020

I thought I would post a picture of the group photo taken at SMALL in Little Rock in Oct 2020 of no less than 113 1/2A (and thereabouts) models in attendance. The vast majority of these flew at SMALL. Most were RC and some were CL, plus a few free flight.

Some of you likely post or lurk over at RCG and might be aware of this, but I thought the group here would like to see it.

I had 5 or 6 1/2A models in there, including my 48 year old Goldberg Jr. Skylark Twin with two Pee Wee .020s, near the front.

it was quite the gathering of models!

Good to see SMALL show up on this forum.
Maybe we can keep a flow of updates going here.
SMALL has been happening over 30 years now and has grown into a family reunion of sorts.

Well, a couple of years later and no visible evidence of interest in a large gathering of 1/2A models in in one of the top two 1/2A forums on the internet.

This might be a peak attendance for 1/2A models. Their numbers have been down since then, for various reasons.

SMALL is still alive and well and has been happening twice a year for the last 4 years, with Fall SMALL in Oct.

The Maumelle Sky Tigers have a new field further up I-40, just past Conway. Great new location.

Thomas B..You can lead a horse to water......."
Just enjoy what you do and please take the time to put your 1/2A projects on display here as an inspiration to others.
Today's effeminately raised males have no interest in fighting with the challenges and the icky gooey stuff that goes along with flying COX .049 powered planes.
They simply want to flip a switch with their totally sanitary airplanes and GO.
This is what the SWITCH FLIPPERS are missing....
