It's gettin' slow around here again so...
...here's a pic of another Brian/Michael Pate creation. A little over 18" diameter laminated balsa hoop, 4 channel flying saucer with exhaust sleeve throttled TD .049. Ex-AMA pylon nats winner Michael Pate holding it. It's an excellent flier....but you have to watch out when attempting to hoover it (private joke). If it falls off to one side whilst holding corrective rudder input, it will fall off into an unrecoverable flat spin. Spins down gently and kills the engine.... pick it up, wipe it off, restart and go again!

It's gettin' slow around here again so...
my little speed 400 Spitfire, built as .049, flown about 5 times ( engine was a pain ) and converted back to electric lol only flown it about 3 times since then.
If i ever get one of those .7 engines it'd be perfrect in this
