Default Anyone fly today?

It's amazing what getting in two or three good flights can do to help lift your spirits. There must be some kind of "happy" chemical gets produced in the brain caused by flying little airplanes.
I've been dealing with sick family and a really tough group of students at school for the past few weeks. I feel a lot better after getting in some flying with the SST.

That's how I feel at my job. A bunch of sick luna-ticks ruins my day. Flying really does lift my spirits. The bad news is I have a hard time gettin to the flying field during the week because about time I get off it's too dark to fly (Thanks Autumn). But I cured that problem. I fly everyday now, with my Gws Mini Dragonfly(Heli). I fly it Right on the patio or in the basement. Problem solved........

Didn't get to fly myself, but spent the day at the Wings over Houston airshow and watched a bunch of other guys fly. Great show and excellent finale by the Thunderbirds. Second best thing to flying myself.

I piloted my lawnmower around the backyard today....does that count? I did get to go out and fly yesterday afternoon and it was almost calm. Great BareCat weather! Man I love that thing.

After not flying for several weeks I got out both days this weekend and flew in beautiful fall weather.

Today I got the carb on the VA RC adjusted and could just about hold the LiteHawk it is mounted on in place about 100 feet up where there was a pretty good breeze. Great fun sessions.

Took my Venus 40 out for a hack after not looking at an airplane for 4 months...

I was a amazed at how little I'd forgotten.
Knife edge loops, rolling circles, and vertical snaps a plenty.

I am a happy chappy today.

On the RC engine, an APC 5.5 X 2. I had been using an APC 6 X 2, but the 5.5 revs a bit more. On the open venturi engines, Cox 5 X 3s cut to 4&1/8".
