Yes, I know, perhaps this belongs in the other forum. Thought I'd give the guys that fly'em a go first!

So! Who can tell me what thread size the head and case screws on an Enya 09 have?

Thanks in advance!

The 1970's through 1980's series IV and V engines use a 3mm by 0.6 thread most all over. The glow plug is a 1/4 by 28.

The metric thread is not always included in standard sets, so you may have to get a tap via Rutland Tool.

Default 09 III

Hi again,

it's actually the 09III with the exhaust on the "wrong" side. I know that the screws are definitely not M3 as I have already tried. The physical size is approximately 3mm but the thread is different. 6-32 is way too large and 4-40 too small. Could it be 5-40? I am not too clued up on non-metric, someone able to help me?

Actually it is 3mmx.06mm. If you tried available hobby shop screws then they are probably 3x1 or 3x1.25 so you would not be able to screw them in.
Believe that you can still get a lot of the spares that you need directly from Altech. Certainly you'll be able to get a screw set.
Another is Ebay as there is always someone selling these motors and usually tons of parts too.
