HI ALL; the KIDs are coming, for Thanksgiving dinner .The S.E.5A`s wing is back on..Going to pull the engine,remove tank,clean it up ,reinstall and try to make, some movies again today..Got 2 choices of props 6x3,+6x4..HMMM??? We will walk out in to the pasture this time so we can get more than 1 shot at this today.. SHOULD be some fun going on here today!!!!

Hi everyone its Riley im at uncle Daves and grandmas for thanksgiving.Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm and uncle Dave made a turkey cutter lol.Any ways we did some flying were going to put some videos of the plane in action we did pretty good!the farthest the plane went was about 30 feet not to bad because were still trying to get the hang of throwing the plane.next time were here we will put some more videos and stuff.bye for now.

Well the THE BOYS and their parents HAVE LEFT NOW, AND AS Riley said we did get some air time.NOT as much time as I would have liked to have spent with the boys, but I`ll take what I can get.As Riley mentioned, we took as much video as possible ,till the memory card filled ,and couldn`t take anymore.We gave Peter Burfords propellor a "Real world" test and it held up to our abuse ,no problem.It was installed in the correct orientation this time..It did take a spanking for sure,and looks like it just came out of the box..EVERY landing was a power on. touch down,and not a very pretty one, in the bunch, the whole day long(2 hours ).I think the majority of the problem is in my throwing technique,with almost every release, the tail hitting my hand..The COX BABE BEE,seems to, want to, fluctuate in RPMs.I`m starting to wonder if it`s wanting more nitro..She`ll be peaking out one moment ,then the next it seems to be trying to 4 stroke,maybe the head it`s the original that came with the engine and has about nearly 12-15 tanks of fuel at least..I have a spare here ,but I didn`t want to tinker, while the kids were here, and lose valuable "PLAYTIME" ..Maybe you well seasoned Guys, can hear whats going on in the video, and give UNCLE D.,a couple avenues to run down...THE S.E.5A. sustained some battle damage again,but not nearly as serious as the Maiden..I`ll post a couple pics and a person can see for themselves,now..I`m going to try, and figure out, how to make a video ,out of all the short clips, my sister shot ,with my camera .I`m not sure how to do it but,I`LL try to do it this evening

Could not get pics in above post two show brody with the plane no engine in it ,they came earlier than I had thought the next 2 shows the "WRECKING crew with the pieces..WE had a bkast today.THESE videos should make a person laugh too.I`ll start working on them,pretty soon...

Also our Turkey day is a little later in the year.[X(] Glad you guys had a nice time tho. Isn't it showing up there right now? We wore shorts to an amusement park yesterday. Also no bugs to mention here either. Come visit some day.

You must mean snowing All that snow we got ,melted ,UNDER that was still green grass.. those pictures I posted to what you`ll see in the VIDEOS,is unbelievable,and all in one week..THAT really fixes those mosquitoes.we were in our shirts the weather was pretty good today..I sure would LOVE to see more of the U.S.A..One day you never know ,we just might shake hands.I got to get out of RCU and see what I can do about that vid..D.B. Well after a couple weeks, I finally figured this video thing out..I should`ve been covering the trainer ,but,it`s SUNDAY, and I wanted ,to get this done, for a long time too... It`s length is ,about 5 min.s long..good for a chuckle

I was trying to play the video, but I use a mac, and microsoft makes sure windows media player won't work as well on macs, so I extracted the link from the putfile page, allowing you to save the video to disk, so it won't choke part way through..

the same video only now if you control click or right click, you can save to local disk..

from what I've seen it was running rich.. I'm off to see it all.. thanks for posting the video!

Wow that crushed grass really makes a good landing pad!.. You are right, the engine is not running right, I wonder if the needle valve is vibrating or something, it should run much faster and smoother than that. The way the engine stalled some on hand launches was interesting.

Uncle Dave, you guys are impressive! Check your pm. I think you need a plane that will actually fly. One more tip. You may want to try tossing it south...maybe the magnetic pole is affecting your bird and pulling it into the vortex due to your close proximity up there[sm=bananahead.gif]

Hi Guys... That grass was standing straight up at the begining of the week, then it snow a whole bunch, and flattened it down,like you see there,in the video..Hard to believe 4" of the white stuff, and then back, to the green grass, on my lawn.All in a matter of days..

VIC;maybe I should of been aiming at the dirt, instead of the sky.LOL.

There was a couple tosses that didn`t get on camera.but it was more of those short flights,and a couple inverted runs...Almost every time I threw that plane, it would hit my hand, on the release[:@]..and some of them it seemed like it would just starve as soon as I threw..

I took that tank off, the engine, to check there was no dirt in it , from the maiden crash.That BEE ,was finicky that last time we tried..I`m wondering if the Glo-head is bunged up ,from the break in?Maybe getting hot?NOT Enough NITRO?She seems real Rich, I`ll leave the starter on ,it starts to clean up ,I bring it slightly leaner,and she`ll die..THERE`s a spot with that needle where it`ll run,anywhere else it`s balky(complaining)

We`ll try again, when the kids, come around again...

Thanks for the compliments guys I can hardly wait to get that part of the build out of the way.I won`t rush at this point,haven`t yet so why start now ,Right??MY sister is going to be changing 3 diapers when the Kids see this .They`ll just freak-out.They don`t know, about the radio system yet...
