RE: A TRIBUTE TO MY SON, CHARLES IV
I am sorry to hear of the loss of your son, my thoughts are with you and yours in this tragic time. I know the people of the services of this country are doing their best to keep the world safer for all, and freedom is forever sustained by the actions of the sons & daughters of this great land. May his actions taken in support of the United States be forever remembered.
My heart goes out to you and your family for your loss.

BUMP!
Hey Chuck,
I know today must have been a tough one for you.
They say misery loves company, I hope you know you had some today.
Me and others of the Crew have commented on this several times throughout the year and how tough it has to be for you.
I hugged my own son this morning and let him know why I was a little off today.
Take care bro another prayer got said for you.
I will also notify you first if I observe anything.[>:]
I wanted to get this thread bumped all day but other things kept getting in the way.

Vic, I love you man....... I can't even remember my wedding anniversary and here you and a couple of other guys have somehow remembered the day my son was murdered by some piece of human trash. I just received all his household goods yesterday from Ft Hood, man did he have a lot of stuff! The platoon Sgt [passenger seat] who took 7 hours of brain surgery is mostly recovered physically now, but has had some violent blackouts. The machine gunner is still learning how to use his new legs. A year might have just gone by, but for many of us it seems like just yesterday.

You guys are great, you have no idea how much this means coming from all of you.
Here we are with our careers, hobbies, sports and outside interests trying to coexist in a world with people who are just learning how to use toilet paper. They can only strike out at what they feel jealous of and inferior to. Guys, please have a cold one in Charlies' honor and remember that the best revenge is to live well. In the meantime the battle between those who worship life and those who worship death will continue.

CP,... When I first saw the post last year I just couldn't find the words,
When I met you last week I didn't want to open a wound on a fun night.
When I hear on the radio that X# of our brave young men have been murdered, my first thought is of of you.
It will be a pleasure to raise my glass to honour a true Hero.... To Your Son, Charles.
Steve.

Chuck,
I want to punch someone in the nose - and in the next instant I could shed a tear. I'm so, so sorry. And I'm mad as hell.
I'm sitting here looking at a photo of my oldest grandson - and I AM gonna shed a tear.
