Default .15 Exhaust Deflector

The Norvel exhaust deflector tubes for .15 size engines have not been available for some time. I find that they fit perfectly on my OS.15 FP and LA engines and keep most of the slime out of the way. Anyone know of substitute products at a reasonable price?

Those are too big and are intended for .25 size engines and up.

Default exhaust deflector

If you mean the red and gray ones norvel had that were really small; You can get the exhaust deflector for duratrax maximum st truck, is the same size but is blue! might even match better! looked on tower site, found a black one, you will have to search for blue, I guess. they call it an exhaust tube. towc 7480 is # for black one. -wildfred-

Fred, many thanks for that lead. I got out a kick out of the Tower Hobbies Tech Department note which explains:

"This is the part that goes onto the muffler and that the exhaust comes out of.

Duh, I woulda never figured that one out! (G)
