Default will it fly??

well i finished my mustang and it came out to 20oz plus or minus a hair. im powering it with a norvel 061. i had one that weighed about the same, maybe a little less and it flew okay on a cox .049.

my question is do you think this one will fly.

weight 20oz
wingspan 31"
wing chord 7.5" taper to 5.5"

There's more to it than weight and engine (like the design of the plane! ) but an 061 will definitely fly a plane at 1 pound 4 oz, allthough I wouldnt want to get heavier than that. Maybe try losing an ounce or two in battery/receiver weight? Or are you mini everything allready?

I would try and keep the 1/2A's to 16-18 ounces tops if possible. Lighter definitely flies better!

I'd try the 6-4 or 7-3 first.
