I'm sad to say that we've had very few people attending our S.M.A.L.L. fly-ins over the past few years, so we wont be doing one this year.

That is sad. Geez, Bipe, sounds like you're the only one flying small glow and electric around there.

There are a lot of electric flyers around and they came out few years, but they seem to be turned off by the glow engines.

What if we passed out aspirins and ear plugs? Let's try to make up for it with a day planned down here. The more the merrier for combat and fun fly type stuff. A west coast reedie race would be cool, too.

Yeah, our club is not having a SMALL step fly in this year either. The past few years the sponsors have given less and less, and after Randy Randolph died a lot of his old friends I guess didn't show, last years was very poorly attended...it was kicked around at the club meeting, but it isn't going to happen. Most (all?) of the other people that I see flying small at my club are flying electric...they used to show up, but the last 2 years they weren't here in any numbers...and they have an electric fly-in anyway...

Nooo!....I didn't make it last year but I was planning on getting there this year. Too bad, maybe we can organize something informal this year - promise I'll have something to fly .
