Thanks Merlin... I came across a Rocker that I think I might get the plans for.
Little Twerp is only 7 months and a Rocker will be great for this Christmas,... And gives me 7 months to git 'er done.
Those pedal cars really look good though. Perhaps for next year when he is a little older and can pedal. If the prices are the same it's quite a deal. Imagine ..... 3 years old and have your own Gee Bee or P-51
Grampa Steve's gottta keep this kid's mind in perspective.... His Dad's a Geek... There is more to life than a computer. (artificial inteligence)

RE: Need Plans for an Airplane for a 2 year old
Steve,
I too wanted to build something for my first grandson that he'd be able to use for a couple of years - and I too decided on a rocking chair. I wanted to build it from plans that called for turned spindles but my daughter opted for a design that used all plywood (Baltic ply) so that I could cut an airplane profile in the backrest. She wants a profile that was clearly a model airplane (she used to fly CL with me when she was a kid).
I haven't come up with the profile yet - but I've got til Christmas.
