If you have a Cox Pee Wee .020 I recommend you try that for a 24" span. I used to have some success putting .020s in the 24" - 28" span Guillow WW2 kits and flying them rudder only. With today's micro equipment ailerons and elevator would make for a really fun plane.

haha ok, i might cut one of them f16s up and use it as a template and make a slightly bigger version out of balsa any ideas on power wise. its got a 16-18 inch wingspan i think and enlarge it to about 24-26

Yup for the DF versions of the f16, just get the biggest fan you can cram into it, for prop planes, anything in the 18-24" range will fly nicely on a pee wee .020, but if it's got a true throttle and at the top of the scale at 24", I guess a norvel .049 would be a pretty good match to slap into it.

Those voices in your head won't let you be, will they? I'd say just concentrate on the projects you have going on right now and wait for a delivery of stuff from the post man.

The trick to any composite material is using the least amount of resin and the most amount of media, squeazing out as much resin as you can before the curing happens is the strongest and lighest composite material can get.
