I am not so taken by these- If these where readliy available I would still take a norvel anyday.
O.K they look pretty, and they probably have reasonable fits for sport flying- but I doubt it is very powerful. You might find a $40 AP wasp would blow one away- albeit briefly until it wore out...
It is O.S, so it is not going to have a hardchrome liner like the VA, GZ, Profi, Fora or cyclon. You are essentially getting the prissy but slow sister of an older generation norvel.

Weren't these made and given as gifts to OS execs and and other VIPs related to the OS empire?
It does look very pretty, but I'm sure after a few runs and burnt on castor stains, it would look like any other 1/2A engine.

That's why I said a production version....less expensive cast parts, proper timing, and so forth. That thing appears to have all the features I personally have been waiting for in an engine of that size. The next closest thing are the TT07 and the Toki 05 (I missed out on the VA MkII, durn it).
