RE: The Leastie Beastie

Sweet. I've never tried an RC project with an .010. On the other hand, some of the best fun I've had involved an .010 powered CL that launched off the big park style picnic table on the patio. Great nonsense. Older sister as pit crew and launcher. A ten foot pin oak to get over and a larger maple branch to get under every lap. The show attracted a lot of boys and their dads and annoyed the heck out of our mom (which might be why did all summer for a few years). I vaguely remember that the plane was a LG equipped version of something called the Diamond built from the MAN magazine page plan. The airfoil was a teardrop diamond elongated to the trailing edge. Simple to build, nasty to fly, easy to fix. :)

How times have changed. We used to run tether cars in the circle at the cul de sac. Control Line on the rough ball diamond at the other end of the street. I wish my son could have that kind of childhood. I do the best I can.

I love it. I think I'll have to build one myself. What is the wingspan and fuselage length for this? I wanted to make sure my math for scaling is correct. Some days I tend to be math challenged.
Thanks for posting.
