Very nice model! It looks like an ACE RC type wing, but I have no real idea who made the kit.

I dunno, that hairy wrist makes me think this is some kind of CP rouse.:D

Nice job whatever it is.[sm=thumbup.gif]

Looks sort of like an Ace GLH. Was available with foam or built up wing.
Designed for a T.D. 49 to 51.

Wing span about 32 inchs?

RE: who makes this kit

Would anyone argue that the GLH was the best flying 1/2A kit ever?

RE: who makes this kit

GLH is shoulder wind and no LG.

GLH had a sweep of 20deg each panel, this thing may have started out with a built-up glh kit, that wing is not swept as much as the stock glh. looks fun

It sorta looks Jr. Falconish too....

I'm betting this was never a kit, unless it's a heavily-bashed one. I vote for a heavily-modified Jr. Falcon (modified with a swept wing and non-airfoil tail).

You're probably on the right track. It looks like a clipped wing built up GLH II with trike gear and a canopy. I put trike gear on the fuselage of a GLH in the late 80s in an attempt to make a cheap sport plane that could take off and land on a Tartan track around the athletic field next to my office. Even with the LG it was too hot for flying that near campus.

Reminds me of a plane a friend of mine had called the Griffin. Cannon gave you the plans when you bought a G-Mark, I believe. But, the wing looks like something the builder created.

RE: who makes this kit

Certainly one of the better airplanes kitted for an .049 i've ever flown... It was a revelation early on in my flying career, and still would be enough to get me out of bed on a sunday if I had one built. Still have a kit, but I plan to do a sheeted wing for the next one.

RE: who makes this kit

Good, i haven't flown this plane yet, well i tried with a himax brushless motor, i don't know what was wrong didn't wanted to fly,
i don't think it had the power oh well. Yesturday I installed a new 049 sure start without the back choke tube, and motor ran
but didn't ran to good. So I took it off made some mod I made a little mount painted black and hopefully I'll pas the line this
time on the bottom and soon I will buy a 1 ounce tank instead of using the old 2 ounce tank. Hope this time it does fly atleast
i can know it is flyible then i will install a Ap Wasp .061. I can see aleron is very skinny and small. What ya all think? And how
should I setup the tank? And what type?

wrong this is a very light weight model probably less then 15 or so. I might take it in in the future to the post office and see
whats her weight. I ran my motor again on a stand and it works great, I think it is the tank and the fueline setup. Can
someone help me with that? Also this plane wing span is between 32-34 its one of those. Thanks guys!!

I'm still thinking Griffin fusealge with a homemade wing.

RE: who makes this kit

Jim, I think Sullivan makes a decent 1 oz tank shaped like a cylinder. Just go with a solid 3/32" brass tube in the tank to deliver fuel. Sullivan also makes the best small silicone fuel line. It helps to have a 2 ounce syringe with a hunk of 3/32" brass tubing sticking out of the syringes' tip to make refueling easier.

BTW, to keep a round tank from rolling inside the plane, pack it in there tightly with foam. It will also prevent fuel foaming.

RE: who makes this kit

es es, well I am thinking about saving this plane since its cute. I have an old cox pt-19 which is a rc and all foam.
Yes I know its collectible but hey i already mod because it was melting took off the first cockpit so. If I crash
hell foam is alot easier to fix then balsa and is tuff. What do you all think should I fix the first plane whatever
it is or just fly my foamy? I fly other type of planes but i want to get something up and running that is a 1/2 A
plane 2 channel.

Nice little plane! Never seen this before, looks like its built from many ideas. Controls look good, should work fine. Fuel tank, whatever you can fit in there, even a "perfect" style would work if need be.
