I cut wings for a 33% Pitts today. Here's a picture of the 79" span cores next to my Ultimate bipe wing. I didn't realize how big they'd be until I cut them.

I think I'll stick to the small stuff.

I had a 33% Pitts before... Boy, it sure flew sweet. Would do a slow inverted flat spin that would almost stop vertically. Had a Quadra 35 on glow (One of BME's first engines), which was great, but I went through 24 ounces of glow fuel in less than 10 minutes!!

I can fly all day with 1/2A on that 24 ounces...

Why convert a Quadra to glow? I fly all day on 24oz. of gas with my Ryobi.

Well, because Keith wanted to.... Also, we were swinging a 20x10 at 9000.... :D At the time, his business wasn't even begin to be established, so I was helping out with some of his early computer work with ads and whatnot, and he was handing me experimental engines to play with. Fun times!
