1 1/4inch spinners

What Ho aviating chums!
I'm looking for a supplier of 11/4inch spinners. A Keil Kraft standard 1 1/4 would be ideal, but that's not likely.
I can find quite a few electric spinners that diameter, but this is for an ED Super Fury engine and the configuration of an E spinner doesn't suit.

Anyone any suggestions?

Jamara modelltechnik (www.jamara.de) do a 32mm one-which equates to 1.25", in plastic, in several colours. Best nr 171269 Jamara stuff is available in the UK. 2-piece, with front cone retained by two small self tappers, and spinner is clamped by prop washer-ie it has a frontplate rather than a backplate, with the prop locating behind the frontplate. Diameter of my example 31.5mm, overall length 31.2mm

Go to www.brodak.com and search part #BH-943 and see if that one will work for you.

www.mecoa.com has 1"to 1 3/4" spinners in 1/8" increments in black, white and red plastic with aluminum back plate and single center screw mount by CB associates. I haven't ordered any yet but they do look very nice.

CB spinners are top notch. You might want to check the spinner to backplate fit for mold flash right at the prop openings, but that's about it. I had one that needed just the slightest amount of trimming on the mold line for it to fit all the way flush and tight to the backplate followed up with a little bit of cleansing cream to lap it fully into the backplate, but otherwise a quality item. I use their 1".

I did not see an option for a NORVEL adapter nut on Mecoa's site.

I have not tried this, but here's a possible solution. Replace the 3mm prop screw with a 3mm stud (just cut the head off a 3mm screw), add your prop, add a washer if desired, use a 3mm threaded standoff from [link=http://www.mcmaster.com/#]McMaster-Carr[/link], add the spinner and retain with a 3mm machine screw. You may need to finagle the lengths a bit, but I think it's doable. 4mm threaded standoffs are also available if you wanted to add a small spinner to the NORVEL .074 . The standoffs are available in several lengths.

Cracking!
Do you have to turn up the adapter nut yourself?

Derrrr..............
should have read the next post.

Anyone know what the thread is on the ED Super Fury Crankshaft?
