Hi Rob..
I found a potential problem for those who are building the combo board. the schematic is correct..but the parts overlay has one error. The one end of resistor R-8 is showing that it goes to a positive connection, where it should go to a negative connection. I switched that one connection to get the board to function..now it works perfectly. I just thought it might be helpful to those who might have overlooked the schematic and built the board from the component overlay.
I ran the test engine with it and it works great! I'll get back to the instructions with pictures on winding the toroid transformer now and should have it posted in a day or two. Thanks again for a great addition to this project.
