I've tried these on my YS .91-powered scale racing warbirds (such asin the P-39pictured in my avatar), and unfortunatelyfound that the vibration was too much for them. The hole that the latch mounted in would eventually enlarge enough that the canopy hatch would rattle and the paint would wear away from the continuous friction. . . alldue to the vibration. I still found it necessary to bolt them down at the front of the hatch where the latch mechanism was located, So all the extra efforts of installing the latch ended up for naught.
