RE: Private nitro/gas/turbine airfield
I know what you mean... I took approx 24,000 sq ft (30'x800') out of alfalfa production to build my own field. I planted it with golf green turf last spring for a smooth surface and it should be ready to use next summer.
Alfalfa here is does not bring in the bucks anymore, so I might as well have my own field. The nearest RC field is 160 or so miles from me.
I'm far enough from my neighbors so I can run anything I want.
