Default RE: need honest opinion

i have owned a redcat backdraft 3.5. it was a pretty good buggy for the money.
and i now have a redcat lightning brushless car. that thing has proved to be super tough! it handles 2s lipo and i have jumped it at the skate park. still have yet to break anything on it!

i honestly believe that redcat is trying to step up their game. and i can say from experience that their customer service is on par with the bigger RC companies.

there was recently a thread on the redcat gasser. try to find it. the tread made me wish i had bought one instead of my king motors baja.

i think that redcat got started just re-selling stuff from china. but i believe that they are now designing many of their vehicles. and some of their electronics are getting better. the redcat 8E line uses hobbywing brushless systems, and the EXP pro line uses the novatech system. both systems are pretty good, without being crazy expensive.
