well i took the dive and it is the right bearing
but have since realised that the backplate was the source of all of my problems....
it was kinda like it showed me as when i went to tighten the backplate cracked in half when it was totally new... everthing is fine and spins freely so i doubt it has bent anything, just one step closer.
