Tsawyer, I added the weight to the tail. I actually set the engine into the firewall about an 1/8", knowing that it would be nose heavy. Battery is in the back and the receiver is in the back. Definitely epoxy the landing gear bays. I didn't do it and I still regret it. I've had the gear break out a couple times.

Funny about the magazine, I never noticed it in the picture before. Also, I have your avatar tattooed on my shoulder.
I see we have the same tastes......I had him change the face to an original, otherwise the same.

Another trick that I use is thin CA for the tailfeathers. No epoxy to wipe away as you fiddle to get everything aligned. Just wick a bunch of thin CA in the joint and finish it off with some medium or thick at the fillet. I had this plane ready to fly in only a few nights.
