The exhaust coupler will not stay on no mater what i do. i went to my LHS and they made a makeshift connecter between the connecter and the pipe. that seemed to work for a while, but i accdentally flipped the truck and the pipe came off. now it will not stay on. could i put some type of silicone in between the two parts. thanks
That might work for awhile... I ran into problems with my nitro sport waaay back when (13 years ago) with the exhaust. The rubber coupler started to get hard and brittle and ended up cracking. I never had a problem with it coming apart, it just cracked and leaked. Instead of replacing the coupler every couple of months I just took the stock exhaust off and put a MIP stinger 360* pipe kit on it. This provided a boost in power and sounded better than the stock stuff. It ran even better once I ported the pro .15.
