I was lucky and got mine used and RTR for 400. At that price I couldn't go wrong with a high lift. They are expensive but look at what it comes with. It comes stock with steel drive shafts, aluminum shocks, steel chassis, straight axles with massive diffs, lockable diffs, aluminum skid, amazing body, and a rock solid trans that offers three gear ratios. I run a 19T triple and can pull 120 pounds on smooth tile. On cement I should get close to 180 if the tires don't rip. I have also stacked 30 6 cell packs on the rear and it held them with out a problem. And even though it has a stiff suspension it will climb at amazing angles. Now its center of gravity limits what you can do driving sideways but going straight it has no problems. If you have a good motor, 2 servos, and esc you can get a high lift for about 400-450 depending on the store.

And I forgot, you also need to already have at least a 3 channel radio. A dual stick 4+ channel is preferred.
