RE: Cold weather clutch slippage ??R-50 v-2
I had the very same issue two weeks ago. I ended up taking out the entire drive train looking for the issue, and found none. I started to think the same about cold weather and clutch slippage. Since everything else was in working order secure, the clutch slippage seemed to be the only logical answer. I did have a larger than normal gap, and if the cold played an issue, that would explain it. I'll need to test more, but since I plan on replacing the clutch liner anyway to bring it into spec, I won't be able to tell absolutely if the problem was cold, or it needed a new liner, or the combination of both. I don't have the time to test it, otherwise I would.
