tip stalls usually result in a pin of sorts.
to recover you need;

- Lots of rudder authority
- altitude
- speed
- CG ahead of the Centre of pressure of the wing or at least not less than 35%MAC.

Basically you need a well set up plane to make recoveries easy and matchstick less
