very well.
yeah, i've only used the older NiCd technology. I guess i haven't even operated any servos at 6v yet. excited to see improved reaction!
is this what you're talking about in the NiMH family? [link=http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXNHS4&P=0]NiMH battery[/link]
should i convert my TX too ( 7c FM ) ??
not to get off topic here.. but whats the main advantages with NiMH over NiCd?
i will build stock on the plane. thanks for the support.
As with all things it is really a matter of preference. I really like the 6Volt systems and believe the gain is well worth it. I gradually switched everything over to 6 volt. Switched over many of my servos to digital as well. After reading a lot of comments that 6 volt would not be any real difference, I must state I was pleasantly surprised when it was way way more different than I expected.
I use 6V 2000 NIMH packs. Very noticeable difference and much snappier with quite a bit longer flying times. It was so noticeable to me that it even felt like a major upgrade to my planes.
