Make a few heavier bags to go with the 1lb. ones. You can always use several bags together when you need more weight. The bags you show will work, but they are a bit overkill. Just go buy a box of Glad (or any other brand) ziplock sandwich bags. A little tape as a backup to the zipper doesn't hurt and "double-bagging" is another mess prevention method.
