I don't know about the newest RC heli magazine, but I know there was one in a past magazine and there was one in the Model Aviation magazine that comes with the AMA membership. I have been wanting to do it for awhile now. It is pretty simple. You just add two small connectors in parallel with the main connectors. Then add a small resistor in series with the small connectors. You plug the small connectors in first. Then you wait a couple of seconds for the capacitors to charge up. Then attach the main connectors and then unplug the small connectors. I used two JST connectors and I think a 1K .25W resistor for my 12V battery.
