Default RE: harding the diff gears

ORIGINAL: nlovern

I havent opened it up to check the diffs yet. Its new. Do I need to?? I have a EQ 3.5. Saving up money to get fuel and oils,ect...
Okay well where did you get it? If it is new then you are prob okay. I had posted a few vids on youtube about diff probson my EQ8e and I fixed them and has been rock solid ever since and was pretty easy to do... But Redcat has adressed those issues since then..... The difference with the nitro and elec models is the diffs if not shimmed right would not last long in the Brushless elec modles because they made more initail pwr off the jump where as the Nitro models had to build up a little steam. I think you are okay./
